Piano Instruction
Attention is focussed completely on developing the gifts
and interests of every student in a positive, one-on-one
creative learning environment, where enthusiasm is nurtured
and encouraged. It is anticipated each student will grow in
confidence, creativity, responsibility, and independence
while cultivating valuable music skills. Students will develop
an overall appreciation for music, and their passion for
creating and enjoying beautiful music will flourish!

Lessons for Young Children |

Children as young as age three and a half are accommodated at Musical Memories Music Studio! Private piano lessons are tailored on an individual basis to meet the unique learning styles and independent learning pace of each student.
Although structured, lessons are musically game oriented in order to encourage an enjoyable, stress-free experience for each child. Piano lessons at Musical Memories are designed to capture short spans, and provide the opportunity to develop skills to build upon as students mature in age.
Students leave lessons excited and inspired to learn more about music, with confidence in their emerging skills increasing every week. |
Lessons for Students Ages Six and Above |

In addition to keyboard skills, technique, comprehensive ear training, sight-reading, music notation, performance graces, and rhythm are incorporated into piano lessons. Students enjoy performing a large variety of skill-building exercises and music activities while enhancing their musical knowledge.
Students’ personal music goals are taken into consideration, and lessons are designed to help students find satisfaction in their acheivements.

Lessons for Adults |

Adult students are also welcome to study at Musical Memories! Note reading skills, rhythm, music analysis, and interpretation are combined with a practical application of fundamental piano technique.
Students build their abilities on a strong technical foundation, studying topics such as pedalling, phrasing, use of arm weight, and dynamic control.
A variety of music genres are explored, taking the musical interests of students into consideration.
