Parent/Student Goals Evaluation
Upon contacting Musical Memories Music Studio and expressing interest in music lessons, you will be forwarded a form which will allow us to assess the direction you would like your child's music education to travel in. As private lessons are individually tailored to meet the learning styles and expectations of each student, it is very important for us to have a common understanding of what goals will be accomplished through music lessons.
Interview
Although not absolutely necessary, we encourage you to schedule an interview with your prospective teacher before beginning lessons. This allows us to meet the student and assess the potential student's aptitude for music, general disposition, and other necessary information such as musical experience, practice conflicts, etc. Studio policies and procedures will also be discussed, and any additional questions you may have can be answered. If unable to attend an interview, questions and policies can be discussed over email or phone.
